One for Me, One for You

Stealth knitting is almost done and will be posted after next week! Yay!

The contest for employment is still on and I thought it only fair to give it a post of its own. The contest will end on THE day I receive an offer for employment that I say yes to.

If you already guessed in this post, you can leave it as it is, or change your mind. Please leave your guess in this post or this one as I am of little brain and it easily scatters. In the event of a tie (or duplicate answers), there will be a random number pick.

Rules: The ticker in my banner is counting days since unemployment.
Please give me a number you think will be displayed on the day I receive a job offer. That's it.

Two prizes are up for grabs!

You get one of these from Dave Daniels Cabin Cove, I get the other to celebrate working again. These are Dave's hand dyed sock yarns, 100% Merino wool, fingering weight at 425 yards each. One is enough for a pair of socks. You get to choose which one you want.

The other prize was made by my friend Torii, who by the way, is a jewelry maker. The colors reflect a fall theme, and since I scored a nice set of these for my birthday, I can tell you they are niiiice! Thank you Torii!
I lifted this photo from Torii's blog and hope she continues to make these!

There you have it! Pick a number any number, and good luck!

Hope it's soon but I'm crossing my fingers that you'll also hit the Jackpot/lottery, then you can be a Domestic Goddess (yes, I put that in all those silly forms I have to fill) like me!

Those are nice prizes! I sorta hope I lose though and you find a job sooner than what I guessed! ha ha!

I was going to guess 42 for life, the universe, and everything, but then I was going to add that I hope it's sooner. So, I'll cut it in half and make my official guess 21!

I put my guess on the other post, so let me just add here that I hope you get a great job improbably soon, the way it happens in the movies.

I'm going to go with a nice even 30.

I'll give it my best shot...27 days. Hopefully you'll be gainfully employed soon. My husband was out of work for almost six months this year. It was painful.

I'm going to be brave and say 24. It better be soon, I suspect this is crimping your yarn-buying style.

I think I'll stick with my original #... 30!

I'm going to say 33.

Hmmm, I'm going to say 36, I was going to say 34 as that is my age, but someone already said that.

I hope its sooner then that though, but considering how long sometimes it takes just to go on multiple interviews with a company that'll be my guess.

Hey, congrats on winning the STR silky from Norma! I'm going to guess....34. Why does this feel like The Price is Right?

I hope you have a new job in 30 days, something better than your previous job. Please keep us posted!

Huh. Much like when I drive by the Powerball billboards, I'm already knitting this into just the right pair of socks.

Given my record with Powerball, I'd say this is a really good sign for everybody else in the running.

Oh Carol, I have way way too much yarn and so will leave the prize to a more deserving recipient, but I hope that you find a job soon. I *detest* job hunting and I hope it's not as painful for you.

I guess 49 days. Good luck!

I'm horrible at guessing games like this, so I'll refrain in hopes that you won't have to wait long at all before someone recognizes your talents and snatches you out of the ranks! All the best.

PS LOVE the yarn!! :-)

Yep. My... what was it? 25? 24? Just breezed past. Don't ever let anybody say I'm not an optimist.

I'm going to guess 47 days. Mostly because I like that prime number and no one else has guess that number yet.

It appears that the date stamps for Blogspot blogs has gone all nutso....I keep finding blogs that say they were updated yesterday or today, and they're dated Sept. 16.

Anyhoo, I hope you find a job SOONEST. I certainly don't need any yarn, though.
